It all starts with Virginia and Grant and a night Virginia swears she doesn’t remember.

During syllabus week, they technically met at The Bottom, but while Grant remembers it, Virginia’s memory is a little… selective. What did come out of that night? A Snapchat add that would quietly kick off everything.

They started snapping, keeping things casual, and about two weeks later ended up at a Kappa + Phi Delt freshman Luau date party, where they took their very first picture together (the one pictured above). From there, they eased into friendship during their first semester, even sharing a class together, Rock to Bach.

Over the next three years, their lives kept intertwining. Thanks to their friend groups slowly merging (shoutout to Brooke for doing the Lord’s work), they were constantly around each other with late nights, sorority events, group dinners, and bar outings. Virginia confidently labeled Grant as her “best guy friend”, while literally everyone else watched them flirt and waited for them to catch up.

Fast forward to senior year: Austin, TCU vs. UT (Frogs won, obviously), and a night at Peckerheads that changed everything. A friend dared Grant to kiss Virginia. She even doubled down, convinced he wouldn’t. Spoiler: he did. Twice, actually, since some people missed the first one.

When Virginia was getting ready for their first official date, she realized those weren’t just nerves, those were butterflies. And in less than three weeks, they made it official.

Safe to say… everyone else was right all along.
